It is absolutely safe to do yoga online. As instructors we ensure the mat position, camera, lighting are adjusted such that we can see the participants clearly before we begin the session. Unless each participant is clearly visible, we donot proceed. Each asana is demoed first and then the participant is made to do the same under our strict supervision only and as per the capacity of the participants. So it is absolutely safe to do yoga online with us!
Asanas , pranayama, bandhas that affect the abdominal organs should be avoided during this time. Simple asanas can be performed which put no or low pressure on the abdomen.
Our body takes time to tone, so it is not right to pressurize the body to perform all asanas from Day 1. Yoga is also not only about physical postures…it is a journey to be enjoyed, relished and be aware of each aspect of life. The bends, stretches, turns and twists will improve with daily dedicated practices so do not worry at all!
We teach yoga asanas, suryanamskar, Chandra namaskar, bandhas, mudras, pranayama, chanting, neuro yoga, yoga Nidra and meditation.
We pay individual attention to each participant ensuring posture correction, clarification on techniques, provide the contra-indications and benefits for each and every asana. This holistic approach combined with the mix of meditation, chanting, yoga nidra, flow practices, chair/neuro practices, has helped all our participants to see significant improvement in their physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Absolutely you can avail a free trial class to see how the class suits your pace, body and mind. Based on that, you may decide to join us or not.
Currently, we take classes for overall fitness, mental health and wellbeing for adults and adolescents only.
Medium of instruction is English and mode of classes will be on Zoom.
